Mylar Bag – Long Life Coffee
This is freeze dried coffee which has been sealed in a thick Mylar bag with oxygen absorbers to greatly extend the shelf life. Coffee can last over 30 years when packaged in Mylar bags and if it is kept in optimal conditions. (Note: This is freeze-dried coffee and not coffee beans. Roasted beans only last a few years, as opposed to freeze-dried coffee which can last over 30 years)

Food Specifications
• We use heavy duty Mylar bags to help avoid punctures and to reduce light transmission to the food.
• The Mylar bags have a zip-lock at the top to allow resealing, letting you use the product over a few weeks.
• Mylar bag weights are different per product type due to the varying density of the product inside.
• We aim to be as accurate as possible when filling up the Mylar bags, but due to varying scales, expect between a ±5% difference in weight per bag.
• Not all bags will have a vacuum sealed appearance to them due to the air gaps in the product.
• All bags come with excess oxygen absorbing capacity to ensure the complete the removal of oxygen. They will also kill any bugs that may have been in the bag or packaging. Be sure not to accidentally pour them into your food, however generally they are on the bottom of the bags.
• Not all food products (such as salt and sugar) require oxygen absorbers, therefore they will not come with any inside.
• When storing the bags, be gentle with them as sharper foods such as pasts and rice can puncture the sides of the bag if pressed into tight spaces.

Delivery
• Delivery only covers the Brisbane CBD region north of the Brisbane river and the Moreton Bay City region up to Caboolture.
• Orders placed will be fulfilled within 14 days to ensure the freshest product and the longest lifespan possible. If there are any further delays or product shortages, we will notify you of the estimated delivery date.
• After receiving your purchase, thoroughly check the Mylar bag for punctures. If there are any issues please contact us immediately. You have 30 days after receiving the products to notify us of any incorrect or damaged products or any other issues.
Prolonging Your Food
• The shelf life mentioned above is a guide only. There are 5 factors which determine food degradation: Heat, Moisture, Oxygen, Light and Pests, so avoid exposing your food to these elements for the best shelf life possible. We’ve taken care of three of these factors during bagging – Oxygen and Moisture removal and protection from Light, therefore we recommend that you store your bags in a pest-proof plastic tub and away from heat
(under 24°C and above 1°C is ideal).
