Post Rapture Steps
What should you do now that the rapture has happened and you want to start living your life not for yourself, but for God? I’ve compiled a series of steps for you to help start your new walk with Jesus in these troubling times.
1 – Believe
Firstly you should be absolutely sure that you believe the disappearance of people was due to the rapture, the same event prophesied throughout the bible. You can read the “Pre-Rapture” section again for the evidence and bible verses about the rapture’s soon coming from a pre-rapture perspective. There will be a lot of deception after the rapture and God himself will send a strong delusion on the earth which may even trick the wise (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12), so be strong and read your bible!
You should also believe that God is real, and alive today. You should know that God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus are one (called the trinity), and that Jesus came and died for your sins on the cross nearly 2,000 years ago, rising on the third day. I have included the gospel of John in the Christianity section so you can read it for yourself. If you’re still wondering whether God is real you should take a look at the “RELIGION > Christianity > Evidence for God” section for some remarkable facts about Him and how He left a way to verify himself, and the bible of its authenticity.
2 – Accept
You should then head back over and read the Christianity section for information on how to be saved by confessing your sins and committing your life to God. Put simply you need to pray that:
a) Admit you’re a sinner in need of a saviour,
b) Believe that Jesus is Lord and that He died and rose again on the third day, and
c) Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and that you wish to follow His ways putting your old life behind you.
It’s that simple, but these aren’t just ‘magic words’ you say to go to heaven, you honestly and truly have to believe every word you say because Jesus looks at the heart. It’s never too late to be saved (before the second coming) and you can still live with God for eternity, even though it’ll be much tougher now. I’ve included a lot of other information in the Christianity section which will also help on your journey of discovering God.
3 – Read
Read your bible daily, I recommend starting with John (Not 1 John, but the John that comes after Luke) for a great book covering all the important topics from Jesus’s ministry. If you don’t have a bible, a few of the books have been included in the Christianity section.
Once you’re done with John I recommend reading Luke, Acts, Romans, Genesis, Revelation, Psalms and Proverbs followed by the rest of the New Testament and then the Old Testament. Before and after reading His word I recommend a time of worship to praise the Lord of the universe for all His love and compassion to you, singing the Psalms are a great way to praise Him! If you don’t understand something particular in the bible, bring it to Him in prayer that He may open your eyes so you can see what He means.
4 – Know
This period on earth will be the most destructive that the world has ever seen, with man-made wars, 8.5+ magnitude earthquakes, volcanos, seas turning red, mountain sized meteors falling from space and much more carnage. To top it off the antichrist will seek to kill all Jews and Christians during the last 3.5 years of his reign – after he sits in the temple and calls himself god.
He will literally behead those who don’t take his mark on their forehead or right hand, so unfortunately the odds are greatly against you surviving until the second coming of Jesus. But I can guarantee you one thing, if you stand firm in the faith no matter what happens to you, you will live eternally with Jesus – the King of the universe – forevermore! As you go to your death for Christ, know that you are mere seconds away from seeing Him face to face! I pray that you have courage and you stand by your commitment to the Lord in those dark times that He gives you strength, boldness, wisdom and peace. Remember the below verse through the troubles of hardship you face, another good one is Psalm 23.
Matthew 10:28 “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
DO NOT TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST!
Jesus says that you can’t get into heaven once you take this mark as it’s a sign of allegiance with the devil. This mark will be one that the world leader (the antichrist) says everyone on earth must get on/in either their forehead or their right hand which allows them to buy and sell. This mark could possibly be some form of electronic implant or digital tattoo allowing seamless and instant digital transactions.
5 – Learn
After the previous sombre step you should learn all you can about the times coming ahead to prepare yourself. Further below is a summary and an interpretation of the events in the book of Revelation which outlines each of God’s judgements on the earth. If anything, these can be used to verify the bible is true and correct and to help others believe His word! For further reading on how the world descended into darkness and the evil forces at play today I recommend reading the CONSPIRACIES section I wrote in “The Preparedness Encyclopedia”. It also has a section which compares the biblical values and modern values today such as marriage, love, sex, homosexuality, abortion, God, evolution, satan etc.
Watch some of the content in the “Reliable Christian Content” section above as these are bible-based truth seeking individuals who don’t compromise on the word of God. There are hours and hours of free, downloadable content which will teach you everything there is to know about the bible an God.
6 – Equip
You’re about to head into a battle in the most destructive time in all of history, against a spiritual foe who cannot be harmed by mortal weapons, who only Jesus can conclusively defeat. Satan is the father of lies and there will certainly be a LOT of them circulating after the rapture. Put on the armour of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so you can resist the devils attempts to take you down. The armour is further explained in the Christianity section if you don’t understand it immediately. Equip and teach those around you about the greatness of the Lord Almighty!
If you don’t already, you should find some like-minded individuals who are on the same Christian walk as you and want to live for Him. Having companions on this journey makes the trip easier and you can support each other through times of hardship and worship God together. Even if you are alone on this path you will always have Jesus who you can pray to at any time, I’m sure that if you pray for another Christian friend to support you and if it’s in His will, you will find someone. There will be a multitude of tribulation saints (Revelation 7:9-17), so you certainly aren’t alone.
7 – Battle
It’s time to head out into battle and fulfil His purpose for your life by living for Him and spreading His gospel to all those who don’t already know Him. Pray for all other Christians in these troubled times that they may stand strong and be resilient against the devil. Pray that those who are questioning the rapture won’t take the mark of the beast or be led astray by the lies of the masses.
Read your bible consistently and learn Gods word whenever you can. Praise and worship Him daily. Help those around you who need assistance or food and spread the gospel and this guide to whoever needs it. Live a life worthy of God by emulating His example to us while He was here. Feed those in need, assist anyone needing help, give with no thought of return and above all preach the gospel to everyone so that they might be saved!
John 16:33
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
