The Dan-Bull LoveBomb concept

Now you may or may not be familiar with the YouTuber “Dan Bull” who creates (in my opinion) the best video game raps ever conceived by man. He takes a fairly well known game and rappifies it turning it into an amalgamation of words designed around the game-play factors or anything interesting about the game that deserves mentioning, and raps it to the theme of the game. I’ve been subscribed to his channel for many months now after I watched his league of legends rap and have been awed by his incredible pace of speech but also his ability to fit the perfect word into his raps while making complete sense about the game.

Purchased an Overlord 27″ 1440p 120Hz Monitor

This post is about the new 120Hz 1440p monitors I found that seemed too good to be true and some information on them if your a gamer looking for the next big thing! Read on for more.

The results from my poll about what I should buy myself for christmas 2012 were fairly straight forward as the Asus 120Hz monitor with 3D was leading by a long shot. The problem with the monitor was that it was only 1080p, and i’m a hardcore gamer but not terribly into FPS games which was pretty much the only reason to go for 120Hz in a monitor. If your not a geek then a monitors resolution such as “1440p” is the number of pixels for the height of the monitor, the full resolution name for 1440p is 2560×1440, with the monitor having 2560 pixels along with width for a total of 3,686,400 pixels.

The Game of Life – An Impossible Idea

Recently while on my way to uni I was thinking of what is probably the most ambitious “game” ever designed, what I like to call the game of life. This project isn’t so much a game but more-so a simulation of human behavior in a three-dimensional interactive form which lets you control any aspect of it via an incredibly powerful Pc which probably hasn’t been invented yet.
Firstly this concept is completely hypothetical however it’s actually fun to think about the results if this simulation were real.
I’ll try to make understanding this concept easier by introducing one aspect at a time starting with the people in it. To visualize this project firstly think of a person, any typical person and then isolate everything about them that makes them human such as: Personality, Hair Color, Likes, Dislikes, Emotional Tendencies, Perks, Ingenuity, Size, absolutely everything and use them as variables in the game with a moderately random realistic range. Just taking a wild guess but i’m estimating it would take around 10k variables to sum up human behaviors and interactions.
